Animal Paintings

Here are some animal paintings I did for my 2019 Fun-A-Day project.

The goal of Fun-A-Day is to do something every day, so each of these images was made in one day, usually in less than an hour. Something I like about them is they’re a little rough. You can’t overthink with FAD, you have to just do it.

My family collaborated on a project that year. We made a chart, and every day would pick an animal that corresponded to the categories on it: “Where: Sky/Mountains/Land/Sea/DeepSea” and “Continent.”

We then watched a video about the animal and then each of us would make art about the animal.

For the show itself, I made a book for each of us, with all of our art complied, and also a large poster displaying an example from each day.
